Future 8th Grader

Dear future 8th grader,

During your 8th grade school year, you will have lots of exciting activities that you will enjoy. Some of my personal favorites were the fashion show, E.L.D., and blogs. The way I found to succeed in the fashion show was to always agree with each other and to listen to each others opinion. This way everyone is happy and a beautiful model can present the team well. E.L.D. was an amazing opportunity for 8th-grade scholars. At E.LD., you get assigned a lower grade teacher there you help with assignments, filing papers, helping the class, and much more. To succeed in E.L.D. you should like your teacher and always be friendly to the younger scholars. That way they not only love you but, you love them.  This year, 2017-2018, we started a new program called edublogs where we can make a blog post about a topic or do that week’s 100-word challenge. When making a blog you can express yourself writing skills and open up your imagination to the writing world. 8th grade is your last year of middle school so make it your best year. You will be going to high school and you will want to take every opportunity 8th-grade offers.
